DGCA Proficiency Check Tracker
Never blow a PPC date: log each PPC and supporting events, get amber warnings before the 6-month deadline.
Rule applied: Indian operators run pilots on a six-monthly PPC (pilot proficiency check) cycle per CAR Section 8 and operator Ops Manuals, alongside route checks and annual refreshers.

โ ๏ธ Not for operational decisions. This is a record-keeping and planning aid only โ not certified avionics, not a source of regulatory truth. Always verify against official sources (DGCA) and your operator's approved documents before flying.
Free dgca proficiency check tracker: enter your last PPC and every qualifying event, and get colour-coded warnings well before the deadline โ with the whole validity stack on one board.
About DGCA Proficiency Check Tracker
Indian operators run pilots on a six-monthly PPC (pilot proficiency check) cycle per CAR Section 8 and operator Ops Manuals, alongside route checks and annual refreshers. The failure mode is never ignorance of the rule โ it's the calendar: airline rosters revolve around ppc due months โ missing one stands a pilot down regardless of other validity. This tracker keeps each qualifying event with its computed expiry on a single status board, turns entries amber 45 days before they bite, and shows the next-due date as a headline tile. Because operators audit the full validity stack together, the entry form accepts every relevant check type, not just the headline PPC. Export the board to CSV whenever training departments, clubs or insurers ask where you stand.

Frequently asked questions
How does the Indian PPC cycle interact with other validity items?+
The PPC is one gear in a machine: Class 1 medical (6 or 12 months by age), IR renewal embedded in the PPC for most operators, route checks, CRM/DGR refreshers and ELP all run their own clocks. Crew scheduling stands you down if ANY lapses, so Indian pilots track the full stack together โ this tool's board accepts all of them, with the PPC's 6-month rhythm as the heartbeat.
What happens if my PPC lapses?+
You're removed from line flying until the check is completed โ Indian operators treat PPC lapse as an automatic stand-down, and re-qualification may need additional sim sessions per the Ops Manual. For GA holders, an expired check similarly suspends the associated privileges until re-examination.
Why do calendar months make expiry dates confusing?+
Most aviation validity runs to the END of a calendar month, not 365 days from the event: a PPC on the 3rd buys you validity to the last day of the expiry month, 6 months later. Doing that arithmetic mentally across multiple items is where pilots slip โ this tool stores the actual expiry date so the badge, not your memory, carries the load.
Is this tool private โ who can see my entries?+
Only you. Entries live in your browser's local storage and never leave your device, so there is no account, no cloud sync and no one else with access. Because the data is device-local, remember to export a CSV backup before clearing browser data or switching computers.
How do I back up or print these records?+
Use the Export CSV button below the table: it downloads your full validity board as a spreadsheet-ready file. From there you can print a clean copy, archive it with your training folder, or import it into any electronic logbook program. Exporting monthly is a good habit since the working data lives only in your browser.
